Our Commitment
Agent Commerce Optimization publishes research, guides, and analysis on an emerging and rapidly evolving field. We take this responsibility seriously. Our editorial standards are designed to provide accurate, useful, and honest information — even when that means acknowledging uncertainty.
Accuracy & Sources
All claims are grounded in verifiable sources: official protocol documentation (UCP, MCP, ACP specifications), peer-reviewed research, official platform announcements (Shopify, Google, OpenAI), reputable industry publications, and our own technical testing and implementation experience. We cite sources inline and maintain reference lists for major articles.
Distinguishing Fact from Analysis
Agentic commerce is new. Much of what we write involves informed analysis, not established fact. We distinguish clearly between what is technically verified (protocol specifications, platform capabilities, published research), what is based on our implementation experience, and what is strategic analysis or projection. When we speculate, we say so.
Conflicts of Interest
Agent Commerce Optimization is a service business. We sell ACO audits, implementations, and managed services. Our content naturally relates to the problems we solve. We disclose this relationship and do not let it compromise the accuracy or objectivity of our editorial content. We do not fabricate urgency or overstate market readiness to drive sales.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Corrections are noted inline with the date of correction. For significant factual errors, we publish a correction notice at the top of the article.
Authorship
All content is written or reviewed by Michael Salamon, founder of Agenxus. Guest contributions are clearly attributed and reviewed for accuracy before publication.
Updates
Given the pace of change in agentic commerce, we regularly review and update published content. All articles display a "Last Updated" date reflecting the most recent substantive revision.
